Meet Roland Bunce - Britain's Next top model

Roland Bunce will be the country's Next top model as thousands of internet users put the word 'shun' into fashion.

Many have become disillusioned with advertisers using unrealistic airbrushed models and it seems the next generation of trendy teens are finally taking a stand.

The web gives everyone a voice and after reading comments on a number of news websites it is clear people are taking their cyber pitch forks and using the old protest vote.

A competition was launched to find a new model for Next by harnessing the power of social media.

Hopeful hotties

Hundreds of stunners flocked to the website with the hope of making it to the big time only to have been beaten by a man who looks strikingly similar to the numa man.

Thousands of youngsters are continually voting for him to scoop the top prize and become the new face of the iconic fashion brand.

And today after the item spread into national news websites, his popularity has snowballed and the Next website crashed.

Today it also emerged that the Italian Vogue put three 'plus-sized' models on its front cover in a move to campaign against dieting (and unrealistic weight-loss goals).

Arrivederci anorexia!
